With support from Student Affairs, Lights on the Lawn gives a team of students the opportunity to run a show with full authority and autonomy. Leaders negotiate contracts, work with Fortune 500 companies and plan a full scale production.

Through Lecture on the Lawn, student leaders work with Nashville’s top music executives to power Vanderbilt’s premier music industry panel and networking event. Team members get hands on experience working with music professionals in planning the show.

Since its inception, Lights on the Lawn has raised over $825,000 for the Mary Parrish Center. This allowed them to purchase a one-of-a-kind transitional housing complex that has changed thousands of lives. LOTL is one of the Mary Parrish Center’s largest donors.
